Also, if you fill in any contact forms we embed in our ads, we will collect the details you provide through these forms, and we may also combine this information with other information.

We also receive your third party social network profile information (or parts of it) including statistics and analysis of your social network information every time you download or interact with one of our web applications on a third party social network such as Facebook, every time you use a social networking feature that is integrated within our website (such as Facebook Connect) or every time you interact with us through a third party social network (for example, you send us Facebook messages or you post on our Facebook page). If you consent to targeted advertising, some of our advertising partners use information from your interaction with other services, websites and apps to improve the quality of our recommendations to you on our website and in order to show you relevant ads from us on other websites and platforms.

We also use information to administer the supply and sale of our products (for example, where necessary, we would share limited information with our suppliers to claim rebates).
  2. We collect and use your personal data to verify your professional membership (e.g. dental registration) – for example, when you purchase goods or services from us.
  3. We collect, use and store your Identification Information, Contact Information, Purchase History, Loyalty scheme information and Communications Information to manage our relationship with you as our customer – for example, to send you service communications (such as order confirmation emails), and to handle requests relating to your purchases or your interest in purchasing goods and services from us.
  4. If you use our Live Chat function, we will use your information (including your name and contact details) for dealing with your query, training and customer service purposes.
  5. We record your calls with us for training and quality assurance purposes, and to effectively handle any complaints.
  6. We will collect and store Payment and Delivery Information in order to track payment and delivery status and to provide our products and services.
  7. We will collect and use Contact Information, Purchase History, Marketing information and -when you also agree to the use of marketing cookies- Device information to send you tailored direct marketing communications in relation to products and services provided by us and our affiliates, and to understand how you interact with those communications (for example, if you open our emails).

We use personal data, such as Identification information, Purchase History, Marketing information or Device information, to create marketing profiles about our customers and understand their preferences in relation to our products and services (for example, we analyse how you interact with the content on our website and with our ads to understand which products would be most relevant to you and to show you relevant ads on our and on third-party websites).
  9. List-based matching: social media providers give us the option to find our customers on their platforms and show them our ads. We use this type of advertising when you consent to this via opting in to digital marketing. Please note that list-based matching may require that you have also given consent to your social media provider or that your social media provider can rely on another lawful basis. For example, with regard to the list-based matching process, we will provide Meta with your email address in an encrypted form (hashed); if you have a social media account with the same email address, we provide your personal data for the purpose of showing you our personalised advertisement on your social media platform timeline. In some cases, we ask these partners to show our ads only if we think this will be particularly relevant to you, based on information they hold on you such as demographics, your activity on the social media platform, or your interests. We will not, however, receive this demographic information about you. We currently use this matching activity with these partners: Facebook and Instagram. You can change your mind and withdraw your consent for this activity at any time.

Lookalike matching: we also use personal data of our customers to allow social media platforms to find individuals who have a similar profile to our customers and who we expect are interested to find out more about our products and services, so as to show our ads to them. For example, we provide Meta with hashed email addresses of our customers, which Meta would match with these customers’ social media profiles. Based on these profiles, Meta will look for other users who have a similar profile to our customer and would show them our ads. with these partners: Facebook and Instagram.
    You can withdraw your consent at any time if you are our customer and have provided your personal data to us for this activity.

We use your personal data such as Device information when you interact with third party social networking features, such as like/share functions to serve you with advertisements and engage with you on third party social networks. You can learn more about how these features work, the profile data that we obtain about you, and find out how to opt out by reviewing the privacy notices of the relevant third-party social networks.

We and our group companies will use personal data, including e.g. Purchase history and Device information to compile statistics and conduct analysis about the use of our website and related services (e.g. product orders), and we will use such statistics to enable us to provide a better service, features and functionality to you and other website users, develop our business and inform our business and marketing strategy.
