Co-founded by Henry Schein, the PSCN brings together organizations like the World Health Organization, CDC, and more than 100 private sector companies to improve the flow of essential medical supplies during crises. By promoting market transparency and coordination, PSCN helps prepare global systems before emergencies hit.

Expanding Access Through Smart Policy Change

We believe that good health should never depend on where you live or how much you earn. Policy has the power to open doors—or to keep them closed. That’s why we work to:

• Expand coverage for essential care, especially for older adults and people with disabilities
• Champion health equity by pushing for systemic reforms that address root causes of exclusion

Initiative Spotlight: Consortium for Medically Necessary Oral Health Coverage

As a key contributor to this U.S.-based coalition, we advocate for expanding Medicare coverage to include medically necessary oral health services. This change would improve access to vital care for older adults and individuals with disabilities.

• We support research and advocacy through partnerships with the Santa Fe Group and The Harvard Initiative Integrating Oral Health and Medicine, helping shape national and global conversations on the role of oral health.
• Our long-standing commitment to oral health equity was reinforced by the World Health Organization’s global oral health status report, which echoed the importance of the integrated approach we’ve championed for years.
• We partnered with CareQuest Innovation Partners, Colgate-Palmolive, and PDS Health to bring integrated care models to life at our first-of-its-kind oral health pavilion at HLTH 2024, which showcases cutting-edge technology and innovations shaping health care.
